The Diversity Abroad Network provides a variety of opportunities for professionals to share their knowledge, expertise, and opinions on diversity and inclusion good practices within global education. The Network is always looking for energetic and committed professionals and academics who would like to contribute to Diversity Abroad and the Diversity Network articles, Good Practices Series, Country Diversity Climate Notes, Diversity Task Forces and more.

Highlight Good Practices

The Good Practices Series highlights institutions and organizations that have developed creative and collaborative initiatives for increasing access, fostering diversity and creating an inclusive environment in international education. The Good Practices Series provides details about these programs, initiatives, and projects as a resource for institutions and organizations interested in developing their own programs to improve access to and participation in international opportunities on their campus. Diversity Task Forces

The Diversity Network has launched an initiative to develop Task Forces focused on specific areas of interest related to access, inclusion, and diversity related to specific student populations including Race/Ethnicity, High Financial Need, First-Generation, Disabilities, LGBTQ, Religion, Males, STEM, and Leadership. These small groups will be formed to discuss relevant issues in the field; brainstorm ideas and solutions to challenges related to recruiting and advising students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds; and provide recommendations for moving the field forward. These groups will hold conversations throughout the year and come together during the Annual Diversity Abroad Conference.
