International Scholarships & Financial Aid:
Diversity Abroad administers four scholarship programs, which provide over $385,000 in funding for underrepresented students to pursue study abroad.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a wide range of opportunities to students, scholars, and higher education institutions of the United States and Canada, from undergraduate students to faculty, for study and research in Germany.

Gilman International Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.

United Negro College Fund Special Programs (UNCFSP) serves as a portal between the visions of minority institutions and the funding priorities of our nation, it administers various programs that contain support for international study.

The Rotary Foundation administers the Ambassadorial Scholarships Program, grants totaling approximately US$16.2 million, to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical areas. The program sponsors academic year scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for qualified professionals pursuing vocational studies. Nearly 700 scholarships were awarded for study in 2009-10.

US Department of State Travel Warning’s are issued to describe long-term, protracted conditions that make a country dangerous or unstable. A Travel Warning is also issued when the U.S. Government's ability to assist American citizens is constrained due to the closure of an embassy or consulate or because of a drawdown of its staff.
