Members may include individuals seeking employment,, employers or recruiters seeking candidates for employment, or educators who which to share ideas and resources, and to engage in training exercises. You may use this Site only for lawful purposes within the stated context of DiversityNetwork.org's intended and acceptable use of the Site. DiversityNetwork.org is the sole interpreter of the Site’s intended and acceptable use. DiversityNetwork.org authorizes you to view and access a single copy of the content available on or from DiversityNetwork.org, solely for your personal use. The contents of the DiversityNetwork.org such as text, graphics, images, logos, button icons, software and other DiversityNetwork.org content are protected under both United States and foreign copyright, trademark and other laws. All DiversityNetwork.org content is the property of DiversityNetwork.org or its content suppliers or clients. DiversityNetwork.org hereby grants you a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Site only for your personal use seeking employment opportunities for yourself. This authorizes you to view and download a single copy of the material on the DiversityNetwork.org solely for your personal, noncommercial use. You agree that you are solely responsible for the content of any Document you post to the Site and any consequences arising from such posting. Your use of the DiversityNetwork.org is a privilege. DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to suspend or terminate that privilege for any reason at any time, in its sole discretion.
1.3 License to Use by Users who are Employers. DiversityNetwork.org hereby grants you a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the site only for your internal business use seeking candidates for employment. This authorizes you to view and download a single copy of the material on the Site solely for your personal use directly related to using the DiversityNetwork.org for the purpose of searching and recruiting job prospects. You may not sell, transfer or assign any products or services or your rights to any products or services (including access to the Resume Database) provided by DiversityNetwork.org to any third party without the express written authorization of DiversityNetwork.org. You agree that you are solely responsible for the content of any Document you post to the DiversityNetwork.org and any consequences arising from such posting. DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access and use at any time if DiversityNetwork.org determines that you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 License to Use by Users who are Members. DiversityNetwork.org hereby grants you a limited, terminable, non-exclusive right to access and use the Site only for your personal use to share ideas and resources and to engage in training exercises. You agree that you are solely responsible for the content of any Document you post to the Site and any consequences arising from such posting. Your use of the DiversityNetwork.org is a privilege. DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to suspend or terminate that privilege for any reason at any time, in its sole discretion.
1.5 Prohibited User Content. The following is a partial list of User Content that is prohibited on DiversityNetwork.org. The list below is for illustration only and is not a complete list of all prohibited User Content. Content that: · Is implicitly or explicitly offensive, such as User Content that engages in, endorses or promotes racism, bigotry, discrimination, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual; · Harasses, incites harassment or advocates harassment of any group or individual; · Involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters," or unsolicited mass mailing or "spamming"; · Promotes or endorses false or misleading information or illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous; · Promotes or endorses an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing or making available pirated computer programs or links to them, providing or making available information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing or making available pirated music or other media or links to pirated music or other media files; · Contains restricted or password only access pages, or hidden pages or images; · Displays or links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind; · Provides or links to material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual, violent or other manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18; or · Provides instructional information about illegal activities or other activities prohibited by these Terms, including without limitation, making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, providing or creating computer viruses or pirating any media; and · Solicits passwords or personal identifying information from other Users.
1.6 Other specific rules regarding Use. You represent, warrant and agree that you will not use (or plan, encourage or help others to use) the DiversityNetwork.org for any purpose or in any manner that is prohibited by these Terms and Conditions or by applicable law. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the DiversityNetwork.org complies with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws.
2. Privacy
2.1 Respecting your privacy. DiversityNetwork.org is committed to protecting your privacy. DiversityNetwork.org does not sell, trade, lease, or otherwise share your personal information to other companies. DiversityNetwork.org will not collect any personal information about you except for that information which you specifically and knowingly provide when registering for the site. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information, including submitted resumes, by DiversityNetwork.org.
2.2 Policy change and information disclosure. DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post any changes to this page so that you are always aware of which information we collect, how we use it, and under which circumstances we disclose it.
2.3 Advertising. As part of our advertising agreement with Google, we must inform you that:

3. Not Intended For Minors
3.1 If you are under 18. Persons under the age of 13 may not use DiversityNetwork.org. Children (persons under the age of 18) are not authorized to use DiversityNetwork.org without the supervision and/or approval of their parent or guardian. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use DiversityNetwork.org under the supervision of your parent or guardian.
4. International Travel
4.1 The hazards of international travel. Study, Intern, Work, Volunteer and Language School abroad programs require international travel. As international travel is an inherently risky endeavor, DiversityNetwork.org encourages all international travelers to carefully research the countries to which they will be traveling. Travelers should consider the current political, social and health status of their destination countries, and are strongly encouraged to consider their personal health before traveling abroad. Neither DiversityNetwork.org nor its agents assume responsibility for any personal risk or damages -- including but not limited to physical, emotional, mental damages or loss of personal property -- that may occur as a result of international travel.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Trademark and Copyright. The names Diversity Network, DiversityNetwork, and DiversityNetwork.org and all variations of such, along with the site logos and banner images, are trademark of Diversity Abroad. The elements contained in and comprising DiversityNetwork.org are protected by industrial design rights, the rights of author, trademark law and the applicable regulations to unfair competition and they cannot be copied or reproduced in whole or in part without the prior written permission from Diversity Abroad. No logo, graphic, sound or image from the website DiversityNetwork.org may be copied, reproduced or distributed. DiversityNetwork.org does not state any particular appropriate use for the content of submissions published by this site nor for the graphics in the site presented. It is understood by all parties that the content of all information being provided by the user to DiversityNetwork.org for inclusion in the website is the property of the user, and becomes property of DiversityNetwork.org when posting on the website. All content on DiversityNetwork.org must conform to DiversityNetwork.org standards for language, contextual standards, graphical standards, and promotional standards Stories become the copyrighted property of Diversity Abroad as soon as they are submitted, and the user relinquishes all rights to the story and any profits that it might generate for the operators of this site. The use of submissions found in the server DiversityNetwork.org or the RSS flow transmitted by this website is authorized under condition of non-alteration of its contents and the restriction of its use to personal use only and for the purpose of information; use for non-approved commercial activities is strictly prohibited. Any other use than the above herein mentioned is strictly prohibited by law. All original images are copyright Diversity Abroad. No logo, graphic, sound or image from DiversityNetwork.org may be copied, reproduced or distributed, except for personal, not-for-profit use.
5.2 Fair Use of others’ copyrighted content. Any content created by others has been submitted voluntarily by DiversityNetwork.org’s users and/or is being used for non-profit and/or educational fair use purposes. If you believe otherwise, please notify us of any error via the Contact Us link.
5.3 User Information. The Privacy Policy posted on the Site is incorporated into this Agreement by this reference. The Privacy Policy governs data collected through DiversityNetwork.org’s on-line operations only. Please note, as set forth in the Privacy Policy, that DiversityNetwork.org may collect certain personal information from Users and may contact Users periodically in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy. In addition, DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to comply, in its sole discretion, with legal requirements, requests from law enforcement agencies or requests from government entities, even to the extent that such compliance may require disclosure of certain information collected from Users.
5.4 Surveys and polls. Surveys and polls are conducted for research purposes only and are comprised of responses by Users participating on an unpaid, volunteer-only basis. Results are simple tallies and are not intended for official use and/or scientific analysis. DiversityNetwork.org retains all rights to poll data and results.
6. Permissions
6.1 May I link to your articles or blog posts? Please do so. You didn't even need to ask!
6.2 May I reprint your articles or blog posts? Content accessible only by paying Members may not be copied, shared, emailed, or otherwise redistributed without prior approval from Diversity Abroad. Use the Contact Us link to send us an email explaining what you would like to reprint and who you are. We will reply as soon as possible. Generally, we grant educational institutions free reprint rights for staff-written material, provided that the material is not edited and is properly credited. The copyrights to some columns and illustrations are held by the authors and illustrators, not DiversityNetwork.org, so we cannot grant permission to.
6.3 May I syndicate DiversityNetwork.org content? Send an email via our Contact Us link describing how you plan to use the content and also outlining your needs.
6.4 May I reprint job postings? The content of those ads belongs to the advertising institutions. Please seek their permission. Links to our job listings are always welcome and you don't need to request permission.
6.5 How do I suggest blog post ideas? We get many of our best ideas from readers, so please send in your tips and ideas via the Contact Us link.
6.6 How do I report an error or request a correction? DiversityNetwork.org strives for accuracy and is vigilant about correcting errors of fact. If you see an error, please notify us via the Contact Us link. When we find an error in an archived article or blog post, we correct the article so that the error is not repeated.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations on Liability
7.1 Responsibility for Documents and Use. DiversityNetwork.org assumes no responsibility for Documents posted by Users and no responsibility for the activities, omissions or other conduct of Users. DiversityNetwork.org acts as a portal for the online distribution and publication of User submitted information and has no obligation to screen communications or information in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring Documents posted by Users. If notified by a User of a Document which allegedly does not conform to this agreement, DiversityNetwork.org may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and in its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of such Document. DiversityNetwork.org has no liability or responsibility to Users for performance or nonperformance of such activities. DiversityNetwork.org may take any action with respect to User submitted information that it deems necessary or appropriate, in its sole discretion.
7.2 Endorsements. Nothing on DiversityNetwork.org shall be considered an endorsement, representation or warranty with respect to any User or third party, whether in regards to its website, products, services, hiring, experience, employment or recruiting practices, or otherwise.
7.3 No Guaranty of Results. DiversityNetwork.org is not an employment agency or a recruiting firm, and makes no representations or guarantees regarding the effectiveness or timeliness of DiversityNetwork.org in meeting the employment objectives of Users. DiversityNetwork.org does not guarantee that Documents posted by Users will result in candidates being hired or positions being filled, and is not responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason made, made by any User.
7.4 WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS.
7.5 Maintenance of Software and Equipment. Users understand that DiversityNetwork.org shall, on occasion, need to conduct maintenance of the software, servers and other equipment relating to its website.
7.6 Site Modification. Users agree to accept DiversityNetwork.org’s current format and base level of functionality. DiversityNetwork.org reserves the right to upgrade, modify and/or enhance that functionality at its sole discretion.
7.6 DAMAGE LIMITATIONS, ALLOCATIONS OF LIABILITY AND EQUITABLE RELIEF.
7.7 Payment of Services upon Termination of Service Agreement. If at any time during the course of this Agreement you should terminate a Service Agreement in which these Terms and Conditions have been incorporated by reference, not to include your termination in the case of breach of this Agreement or the Service Agreement by DiversityNetwork.org, DiversityNetwork.org shall reserve the right to receive all payments from you for the Services used by you up to termination and for fifty percent (50%) of the remaining unused portion of the Service Agreement.
7.8 Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DiversityNetwork.org (and its officers, directors, employees and agents) from and against any third party claims, actions or demands (including, without limitation, costs, damages and reasonable legal and accounting fees) alleging or resulting from or in connection with your use of the Site, any Document posted by you, or your breach of this Agreement. DiversityNetwork.org shall use reasonable efforts to provide you prompt notice of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and may assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding.
8. Pricing, Billings and Payment
8.1 Pricing. a. Website. Prices listed on the website are current and accurate on the day they are listed, and can be changed or modified at any time. b. Written Proposals. All prices quoted by DiversityNetwork.org sales staff in a written proposal will remain in effect for a 30-day period from the date the proposal is presented.
8.2 Billings and Payment. All billings will be due upon receipt. The entire amount billed for standard postings is due on the date the related job postings are activated on the website. A posting may be taken down earlier than the posting period, however full payment is required once the posting has gone live.
